Commentary for II Kings 24:11

וַיָּבֹ֛א נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּ֥ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֖ל עַל־הָעִ֑יר וַעֲבָדָ֖יו צָרִ֥ים עָלֶֽיהָ׃

And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came unto the city, while his servants were besieging it.

They surround them to besiege the nation.
